First, chitosan-supported chitosan hydrogels were prepared with cerium oxide nanoparticles. Its properties were confirmed by FT-IR, EDX, XRD, SEM and TEM tests. First, the wound was infected with Pseudomonas aeruginosa and in the positive control group it was treated with sulfadiazine-silver ointment and in the negative control group no treatment was performed on the wound. Infectious wounds were treated with chitosan gel, cerium oxide nanoparticle solution and chitosan-nanoserim gel in chitosan, cerium and chitosan-cerium groups, respectively. Rats were randomly divided into 5 groups of 12 series. Each group was again divided into three subgroups including 4 rats and on wound days 3, 7 and 14 the wound healing process was studied.
